Established in January 2014, the IETE (Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers) Student Forum at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has been an active platform for students to learn and excel in their field. Our aim is to create a strong community of electronics and communication enthusiasts by organizing various activities and events. The forum regularly invites experts from academia and industry to share their knowledge and experiences through talks. These talks give students a chance to learn from professionals and stay updated with the latest trends in electronics and communication. To encourage healthy competition and boost intellectual growth, we conduct quiz competitions. These quizzes test students’ technical knowledge and problem-solving skills, allowing them to showcase their abilities and learn from their peers. We also organize programming events to improve students’ coding skills. These events include coding challenges, programming contests, and workshops that equip students with the necessary skills for the digital age.Presentation competitions provide a platform for students to enhance their communication and presentation skills. These competitions help students effectively convey their ideas and research findings to a wider audience, building confidence and essential career skills.
