Electronics & Communications Engineering

Electronics and communication engineering is a dynamic and exciting field that offers excellent career opportunities in a variety of technological fields. The department faculty are dedicated to teaching our students fundamental concepts as well as current trends through a smart teaching and learning process. Students are also taught critical thinking and problem-solving skills as they prepare for their future.

The faculty members in ECE department are excellent and have expertise in a variety of areas such as VLSI, Embedded Systems, Advanced Communications, Internet of Things and Signals and Image Processing.

Electronic devices and circuits, Analogue and pulse circuits, Basic simulation, digital logic design, Analogue communications, Digital communications, Integrated circuits, Microprocessors and Micro controllers, Digital signal processing, Antennas and microwave engineering, and a VLSI design lab are available in the department’s laboratory. To carry out experiments and research activities, the department is highly specialised with simulation software such as MATLAB, HFSS, Multisim, and others. The infrastructure and lab facilities are upgraded on a regular basis to provide students and researchers with a good practical learning and innovative environment. Well-equipped laboratories and infrastructure are regularly upgraded not only to serve the purposes of the program prescribed by JNTUH, but also to facilitate the implementation of innovative projects aimed at challenging the rapid changing needs of society besides carrying out R&D activities in different fields. The faculty engineering association, and IEEE, IETE, ISTE professional student chapters encourage students to develop their technical and communication skills.

Graduates of the Electronics and Communication stream have been hired by some of the country’s leading software and hardware companies. We prepare students to work in a global multicultural environment by utilizing the faculty’s diverse expertise. The faculty members are excellent and are actively involved in academic research and development, conducting seminars/conferences to acquire technical knowledge about the
latest developments in the field.
