Engineering Knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
Problem Analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences and engineering sciences.
Design/Development of Solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
The Mechanical Department at MREM offers great programs in all areas of Mechanical Engineering.
Our bachelor degree program expose you to an interdisciplinary context, which is ideal for industrial production and research enterprises.
Our students often choose to deepen their interests in engineering through robotics, fluid dynamics, design, materials science, green energy, transportation, biomechanics, and space systems. We continually update and improve our curriculum to provide an even better education for our students.
The Mechanical Department is very active in research. We value collaborations with industry and encourage industry professionals to take advantage of our faculty expertise and research facilities.
The department is established in the year 2008 with an annual intake of 120 students. The department has well equipped laboratories as per university norms with an emphasis on practical approach and skills for an outcome based learning.
The department has well qualified, knowledgeable and dedicated faculty. The Mechanical Department is associated with student chapter of IEI , and ASME which is useful for the students in technical aspects to fulfill the series of objectives like technical workshops, seminars, technical fests and guest lectures which are being conducted every year.
The students are encouraged to present papers and participate in various technical events at national level..
